\n\nLTC Dan Fox\, Commander of the JFTB Will Share an Update on Base Operations at the April Cypress Chamber Networking Breakfast

\nThe Cypress Chamber of Commerce will welcome the current Garrison Commander of the Joint Forces Training Base\, Lieutenant Colonel Daniel R. Fox at our April Networking Breakfast. Our event will be held Tuesday\, April 8th at the Residence Inn by Marriott at 4931 Katella Avenue\, Cypress/Los Alamitos starting at 7:30 a.m.

\nLTC Fox will give an overview of the current operations and capabilities at the JFTB and discuss how his team supports local and state programs like the noted Sunburst Youth Academy for at-risk youth. The base is also the home of STARBASE\, a STEM program. LTC Fox has been a champion of community engagement and ongoing partnerships with communities like Cypress local to the Joint Forces Training Base.
\nLTC Fox is a native of San Pedro\, CA. He graduated from the University of Tennessee\, Knoxville in 2001 and was commissioned as an Infantry Officer through Officer Candidate School. He enlisted in the California Army National Guard in 2001 as an Infantryman\, assigned to C CO\, 3-160th Infantry Battalion\, and deployed to Dugway Proving Grounds\, UT in support of Operation Noble Eagle following the attacks of September 11th. His subsequent military career is broad and extensive and LTC Fox has earned a wide range of prestigious awards and decorations. In 2021 he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and assigned to the Chairman&rsquo\;s Joint Staff J7\, Office of Irregular Warfare and Competition to serve as a Joint Strategist. He currently commands the Garrison at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos CA and is in his first-year studies at the Army War College. He is married to the former Ms. Cassandra Garrett of Athens\, GA

\nEach Chamber breakfast attendee will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and share a little about their business before the program begins. Attendees are encouraged to bring a door prize to promote their product or service. The program will include time for live networking\, self-introductions\, breakfast buffet\, and our guest speaker.
